Just a few days after releasing the trailer for Raj Kummar Rao’s Made in China, Sony Music dropped the first song, Odhani, from the film. Although the song Odhani has been remade multiple times, this is promoted as the 'modern' version of it. The song features hints of Chinese elements while the duo dance to the tune.

The song is sung by Darshan Raval and Neha Kakkar and composed by the duo, Sachin-Jigar. Since the song has been dropped just before the Navratri season, it is already ruling hearts on the Garba grounds. The composer, Jigar, has reportedly said that it is the perfect track for the festive season.
When asked about the remake, the duo said that making the remake of an iconic song always comes with huge responsibility. They also added that they have tried to maintain the original essence of the song while making it more relatable for youngsters.
Directed by Mikhil Musale, Made in China is all set the hit the screens on October 25, 2019. The film also stars Mouni Roy, Paresh Rawal, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Mouni Roy will be seen playing Raj Kummar Rao’s character's wife Rukmini. The film’s plot revolves around the life of a failed Gujarati businessman who goes to China to improve his lifestyle. In China, he stumbles upon a new business idea and tries to succeed with it by selling the product to Indians back home.
Describing the characters of Rao and Mouni Roy in an interview with a news source, the director said that both of them have distinctive looks and perfectly complement the fabric of the film. Releasing in the peak of the festive season, the film will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 and with Tapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand Ki Aankh.
