Maharashtra Police uses 'Andaz Apna Apna' scene to share a lesson

Aamir Khan and Salman Khan starrer cult film from the 90s 'Andaz Apna Apna' completed 25 years on Monday, and to celebrate the same, Maharashtra Police took to their Twitter handle to share a 5 second clip from the film with an important message saying, 'Don't drive triple-seat'. The clip shows Aamir, Salman and Paresh Rawal struggling to sit on a bike. Netizens dropped comments praising Maharashtra Police and said: "Always witty" and "Good One".

In the film, Rawal essayed the double role of Teja and Ram Gopal Bajaj. While there is a buzz of the sequel being planned, Rawal says he hasn't been approached for such a project yet. "No one has come to me yet for the sequel. It's a good film, the premise is good... it was ahead of its time. Director Rajkumar Santoshi did a fantastic job. The sequel should be made provided the story is good," he says. "We all had great fun doing the film and had never imagined the film will turn out to be a cult," said Rawal.

The original film, a comic caper directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, featured an ensemble cast of Aamir, Salman, Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor, Shehzad Khan, Viju Khote and Javed Khan, with cameo appearances by Govinda and Juhi Chawla. Mehmood, Jagdeep and Deven Verma also appeared in pivotal roles.
