Manushi Chillar was in the news after winning the Miss World pageant in 2017. It was after 17 years that India won the contest. She has been in the news for quite some time but of late, there hasn't been much news about her. Now, as the latest piece of news suggests, Manushi is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Akshay Kumar starring Prithviraj. Read to know her journey.
Manushi Chilla’s journey so far
Early life
Manushi Chhillar was born on May 14, 1997, in Rohtak, Haryana. Her parents are Dr Mitra Basu Chhillar, a scientist and Dr Neelam Chhillar, Associate Professor and Department Head of Neurochemistry. She has two siblings, Dalmitra Chhillar and Dewangana Chhillar. Reports have that Manushi Chhillar had completed her studies from St. Thomas School in New Delhi and was also the state topper in English in 12th standard. Manushi had also attended the Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonipat. She said in an interview that she was always focused on her studies and wanted to be a doctor.
Beauty pageants
Manushi Chhillar entered the world of beauty pageants with FBB Campus Princess 2016. She was crowned as one of the finalists. She went on to win the FBB Femina Miss Haryana in April 2017. She then went on to win the annual Femina Miss India. She got the chance to represent India at the Miss World 2017 pageant winning the crown at a grand event in China. Manushi Chhillar’s win was celebrated all over India as everyone took to social media to congratulate her.

About Prithviraj
After her success, she appeared in a few ads, one of them was with Ranveer Singh. Now, recently the announcement was made that she will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in period drama film Prithviraj. It is slated to release in Diwali 2020. See the pictures below.
