'Marjaavaan', an action-thriller directed by Milap Zaveri, is set to hit theatres on November 2019 and the movie poster was released on Monday. The movie features Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh in pivotal characters pitting against each other. After his much-appreciated performance in 'Ek Vlilain' in 2014, Deshmukh is all set to return in a negative avatar. 'Marjaavaan' will also have Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria in leading ladies.

With the poster being released over social media by the cast of the films, the promotions for 'Marjaavaan' is slated to kick off soon. A trailer for the movie is also expected to drop soon. The film's release date is rumoured to have been postponed to ensure it gets a clean, unhindered release. Earlier the movie was slated to release on 2 October but the release has been pushed because the moview 'War' that stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff comes out on the same day. The film was later scheduled to release on 22 November 2019, but the makers of the film have now confirmed that it will release on 8 November 2019.

Pressure on Sidhart Malhotra To Deliver

Sidharth Malhotra's last few outings in the box office, including movies like 'Aiyaari' and 'Jabariya Jodi', have been commercial failures. The below-par performances at the box office means that Sidharth needs a Bollywood hit under his belt after his blockbuster debut.  Many consider that 'Marjaavaan' seems like the perfect promising outing for Malhotra to make his comeback to the A-List of Bollywood.

All Eyes on Riteish Deshmukh's Performance

Meanwhile, Riteish Deshmukh is having a wonderful 2019 with 'Total Dhamaal' winning hearts. Among his big projects, Deshmukh has movies like 'Marjaavaan' and 'Housefull 4' lined up. Riteish's villainous look is often appreciated by the audience because of him being stereotyped as a 'comedy film' actor. Riteish also shared the poster of the film on Instagram with a post that read, "Taareekh nayi hai lekin anjaam wahi hoga. Kaminon aur deewaanon ka saamna sar-e-aam hoga. Milte hai 8th Nov ko."

'Marjaavaan' is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. The film has been in production since mid-2018. Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria will both have their second outings with 'Marjaavaan'.
