Marjaavaan Trailer Review: A romance thriller with full of action

Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh-starrer Marjaavaan is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Since the first poster of the movie was released, audiences have been eagerly waiting for the return of the Ek Villan Jodi of  Riteish-Sidharth. The makers of the romance-thriller recently released the trailer of the film. The fans are gushing over Sidharth’s angry young man character and Riteish’s extraordinary avatar.

Trailer Review

At the beginning of the trailer, the audiences get to see Sidharth Malhotra sporting a rugged look. Sidharth is seen standing in front of an effigy of the mythological figure 'Ravana' in the background. The first 30 seconds of the trailer is full of compelling dialogues and action-packed fight sequences. The rugged look of Sidharth’s character 'Raghu' will surely have the audience yearning for more. The female lead of the movie, Tara Sutaria, looks breath-taking in the trailer. However, all her dialogues are in voice-over. It only suggests that her character is verbally impaired. The sizzling chemistry between Sidharth and Tara is impeccable. The first half of the trailer is full of romance between the duo, which sets the premise for the rest of the trailer.

Riteish Deshmukh is introduced in the second half of the trailer. He is seen singing the melodies song Galiyyan. The song is originally from the movie Ek Villian, in which Sidharth Malhotra was pitted against Riteish Deshmukh as well. The interesting choice of song will surely make you remember their unforgettable rivalry from their previous movie together. The entire trailer is a treasure house of action-drama. It also features some heavy dialogues from Sidharth as well as Riteish. Only a small glimpse of Rakul Preet Singh was seen during the course of the trailer. She was seen shaking her leg in a dance number. If the trailer is any indication of the movie that we will get to see, the intense love story will not only excite the fans but also make them emotional.

What to Expect?

Marjaavaan is written and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri under the banner of T-Series Production along with Emmay Entertainment. The director and producer trio were last seen in 2018, for the film Satyamev Jayate. The action-drama was loved by the audience and was a box office hit. The fans appreciated the dialogues from Satyamev Jayate. Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, and Milap Zaveri had previously worked on Ek Villan.

Marjaavaan is Tara Sutaria's second film, after her Bollywood debut Student of the Year 2. It was reported that actors Shaad Randhawa and Ravi Kishan will play a pivotal role in the film. However, there was no sign of them in the trailer. The primary cast and the technical crew of the film have previously worked on multiple movies. The movie was previously slated to release in November. However, the movie will now hit the theatres on November 8, 2019.
