Marjaavan movie promotions: Tara & Sid play garba in Ahmedabad

Marjaavaan starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh is slated to release on November 8. This year the thriller love story will be the second time that actors, Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh will be seen together on the big screen. After getting positive reviews for the trailer, the star cast is busy promoting the movie. The leading stars Sidharth and Tara were seen in Ahmedabad for the movie's promotion.

Sidharth and Tara, who will be playing a couple on the screen in the film, were both seen attending a Garba festival to promote their film. The couple was seen showing off their Garba moves at the venue. Tara and Sidharth were seen dressed in their traditional Navratri outfits at the event. Sid was seen wearing a green kurta and white pyjama at the event. Tara was seen in a beautiful yellow ethnic lehenga. A video of the actors playing Garba with their fans surfaced on the internet and the video has now gone viral. The fans were seen teaching the duo to dance on some Garba beats. It was seen that the actor duo were enjoying each others company off the screen too.

The movie is written and directed by Milap Zaveri. Going by the trailer, the movie seems to be the story of a Hindu boy falling in love with a Muslim girl. This is where Riteish Deshmukh as the main villain of the film. The first movie they worked on together was Ek Villain. The movie Ek Villain had a similar premise where Riteish played the antagonist in Sidharth Malhotra's love story.

At first, Marjaavan was supposed to release on October 2 but was postponed to November 8, to avoid a clash with Hrithik Roshan's War. Sidharth's last film was Jabariya Jodi which had failed at the box office. Tara’s last movie was Student Of The Year 2 which was as her debut film. Riteish Deshmukh's last movie was Total Dhamaal which was a hit at the box office.
