Calling it an incredible experience, Milind shared some pictures with his wife, who ran her first marathon major. With almost 40,000 participants running 42.2 km, Milind urged his fans to never be afraid of trying. Ankita, meanwhile, shared an adorable picture of the two kissing and called Soman 'The Ideal partner'. Due to some issues, she wasn't able to prepare for the marathon but yet she ran till the finish line in 5.01 hours (injury free). Take a look at the pictures -
Talking about the run
In an interview with a leading daily, Ankita Konwar revealed that she used to think Milind was a crazy person seeing he runs 25 kms. Later she told herself that she is young and must do something with herself. "I was guilt-tripping," Konwar told the daily. "And, after a time, I started falling sick and I don’t like taking medicines. I started going to the gym and would walk on the treadmill for 2km and excitedly call him. One day, I forgot the gym was shut and I went for a run anyway. I did 4km and was jumping with joy. He was so supportive. Then I did 21km and won! My first 42km was in Athens, my first full marathon. By the 39th kilometre, there were literally tears of joy. Unbelievable," Konwar was quoted.
About the two:
The model-turned-actor tied the knot with Ankita Konwar in a private ceremony in Alibag. "It's going well so far. fingers crossed," he said adding, "I have learnt a lot of patience and understanding and acceptance from her so that's a good thing."
