Milind Soman recently celebrated his 54th birthday on November 4. We are sharing some of Milind's tips with respect to his diet that has helped him become one of the fittest personalities in Bollywood. Milind Soman won the 'Ironman Triathlon' barefoot at the age of 51, completing it in 15 hours and 19 minutes, winning the title of Ultraman in 2017 making India proud. He is passionate about fitness, as is evident through his social media posts while trekking, running or travelling with his beloved young wife Ankita Konwar.
Milind Soman's diet and lifestyle secrets
Milind Soman revealed in an interview that he doesn't take any form of refined sugar and religiously avoids it, even avoiding biscuits. Milind says that whenever he craves for sweet, he eats the desserts made with jaggery or honey. People might think that the 'Ultraman' Milind follows a rigid diet to achieve this physique, but Milind said that he eats everything and focuses on portion control. He indicated that smaller meals eaten between 3-4-hour-gap are better than eating in bulk three times a day. Milind Soman said that he likes to eat insects as they have high protein content. Milind Soman said in an interview with a leading daily that he quit smoking and advises the same to others who want to increase stamina and become fitter. He said smoking and drinking hinders your stamina. Milind also suggested to have food with their peels. He indicated that vegetarian protein is easily absorbed by the body.

Milind Soman founded Pinkathon along with Reema Sanghavi that focused on creating awareness about health and exercise amongst women. It is India's biggest women’s running event that occurs every year across the many cities all over India. On the cinema front, he last appeared as a doctor in Amazon prime's web series Four More Shots Please.
