Mohanlal strikes a pose with Sanjay Dutt, gives interesting caption
Mohanlal strikes a pose with Sanjay Dutt and send netizens into a frenzy. The Malayalam superstar also called himself 'Big Brother' and Sanju as Munnabhai.
Sanjay Dutt made waves down South when he signed the role of Adheera for Yash-starrer Kannada venture KGF: Chapter 2. And now, he has done so once again, after he posed with Mohanlal. The two veterans created fan frenzy with their latest picture. The interesting bit was the caption the latter used for the pic, terming himself as the ‘Big Brother’ while terming the Bollywood star as ‘Munnabhai’, one of his most iconic roles.
Mohanlal on Wednesday shared a snap on social media, where he is posing with Sanjay Dutt. While the former is dressed in a brown shirt and white pants, the latter has worn a black kurta-pyjama. The Lucifer star captioned the post, “Big Brother with Munna Bhai @duttsanjay.” On Twitter, he used a different caption, terming 'Sanju' as ‘Baba’, his popular moniker.
The reason why Mohanlal called himself the Big Brother is because he is currently gearing up for the release of the movie titled Big Brother that will hit the theatres in December 2019. Incidentally, Big Brother is a common factor between Mohanlal and Sanjay Dutt as both have hosted the show Bigg Boss, which was adapted from the international show Big Brother. While Sanjay Dutt had hosted the Hindi version of Bigg Boss, before Salman Khan became synonymous with it, Mohanlal hosted the first season of the Malayalam version last year.
The post received over 2.37 lakh likes within a day. Netizens were left awestruck with the union of the stars from Bollywood and Malayalam industry. Many of them posted heart and love emojis galore.
Professional front
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Mohanlal delivered one of the biggest blockbusters of his career with Lucifer. The movie was directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and the sequel to the movie has also been confirmed. Mohanlal also starred in Ittimani: Made in China, that released during Onam. On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt featured in Kalank earlier this year. The movie also starred Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Madhuri Dixit-Nene. Sanjay also produced the movie Prassthanam that also starred Manisha Koirala, Ali Fazal, among others. Sanjay Dutt is also set to feature in Sadak 2 next year, KGF: Chapter 2 and Bhuj: The Pride of India.
