Here is a quick look into MTV Roadies Season 16
The grand finale for the series aired on August 18, 2019. This season had six gang leaders in the show – Sandeep Singh, Raftaar, Nikhil Chinnappa, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, and Vinay Sharma, while Rannvijay Singha was the ringleader. The show that started with a total of 25 players had three competing for the final title. These contestants were Ankita Pathak, Arun Sharma, and Bidhan Shrestha.
The gangs had to get through a total of 20 tasks before the 'Grand Finale'. The first player got voted out before the third task. For the final countdown, the selected roadies had to compete for the semi-final task. To add a twist to this, all the ex-roadies were invited to witness this task and given the authority to vote and send a player to the finale. The current players had to compete on the battlefield to collect flags that gave them the advantage of being able to cancel out the votes of other players.
Arun, Anikta, and Bidhan were the winners of the semi-final task and reached the finale. Since it was a team task with one key player, the gangs competing for the finale were Gang Raftaar and Gang Prince. For this task, the key players had to use a ropeway to get to the top of a car held up by a crane. Collecting a set of keys, they had to unlock the car’s number plate and send it to Rannvijay and get a code from him. Using the code, they had to unlock a box, helping them rescue their gang-leader and further rescue the whole gang. Following this, the player had to reach the finish line with the car carrying their gang.
Completing this task in 4 minutes 55 seconds, Bidhan from Gang Prince bagged third place while Ankita from the same team secured the second spot at 4m 53s. Arun Sharma from Gang Raftaar completed the task in 4 minutes 10 seconds and was declared the winner of MTV Roadies Real Heroes.
