In the book, it was revealed that Nawaz had a love story with his co-star Niharika Singh and Sunita Rajwar. Both the heroines reportedly did not take it well and said that the facts were misrepresented. Allegations were made towards Nawazuddin by Niharika Singh as she claimed that the story was fabricated and the letters claiming that their relationship lasted one and a half years were wrong. Meanwhile, Rajwar is said to have lashed out at the actor in a long Facebook post and called his biography ‘An Ordinary Life of Extraordinary Lies’.

Police summoned Nawazuddin after reports of him allegedly spying on his wife came out. It was reported that after Thane police arrested 11 accused, Nawazuddin’s name came out. It was reportedly revealed after the detectives were looking for illegally sourcing call data records (CDR). It was reported that Nawazuddin Siddiqui hired a private detective to spy on his wife and go through her call records. Later, it was revealed that he was not the person behind this activity.
