Yash Chopra's son Uday Chopra seems to be going through a tough time. The 'Dhoom' actor took to his Twitter handle last night to post about his mental health.

He wrote: "Confession: I am not ok! I am trying but so far I’m failing. For a few hours, I De-activated my twitter account. It felt as close to death as I could get. Was phenomenal! I think this is a good option for suicide. I might be doing it permanently soon."

Though the actor deleted the tweet later, Netizens showed concern over his cryptic tweet and started expressing their worry. One user wrote: "Hold on still @udaychopra . Depression does go away and then when you'll be healed, looking back things won't seem as bad as they look now. Stay. Just stay. Keep fighting no matter how many times you fall. Get up andfight again. Go see a therapist. Keep fighting. We all are here."

The other fan tweeted: "Do you take your meds? 🤔🤔That's so typical for Depression ...you have good Days and bad Days 🙁🙁But you're not alone Uday and your honesty can encourage others with depression 🙏🙏I know it's easy to say, but don't give up 😘😘I love you and my thoughts are with you"

This is not the first time Uday Chopra has shared his mental condition on social media. Back in June 2018, the actor wrote about his love life: "I wish I could love with the same intensity I used to love a few years ago. There was this girl and I felt alive just loving her. I’ve lost that now. I just want that passion back. Maybe that’s all I need."

When in February 2019, he posted a cartoon on his Instagram which said 'Im staying in bed Snoopy, its too Peopley out there', his fans showered love and wrote comments expressing concern about his mental health. One fan said: "Sending love and strength your way. It gets better. You are not alone." [sic]
