OMG 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Did Akshay Kumar starrer pass the crucial Monday test?

OMG 2 has been doing good business at the box office after it was released alongside Gadar 2 over the Independence Day weekend. The Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam starrer is set against the backdrop of sex education and the need to integrate it into the school curriculum. The film has been drawing the audience to the cinema halls despite Gadar 2 juggernaut.

OMG 2 sees healthy growth on Monday

OMG 2's first Monday business was more than its opening day collection. This is a good indication for the film and it is expected to see more footfalls on Tuesday owing to the holiday. On its first Monday, Akshay Kumar's film minted Rs 12.06 crore, taking its four-day total to Rs 55.17 crore in four days.

As per Sacnilk, OMG 2 is on its way to earning Rs 20 crore on Tuesday, which would take its total closer to Rs 75 crore in five days. These numbers are great given Gadar 2 has been a juggernaut at the box office and is eyeing Rs 200 crore in five days. 

Akshay Kumar hosts OMG 2 cast for dinner 

The actor hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate the success of the film. In attendance were several cast and crew members. A photo of the entire cast is doing rounds on social media.
