Anees Bazmee, a renowned Indian film director, writer and producer is known for his great contribution to the Hindi cinema. 1. Singh Is Kinng (2008)

Singh Is Kinng features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. It is comic caper about Happy Singh (essayed by Akshay), a Punjabi villager who goes through a series of adventures and eventually becomes the King of the Australian underworld. Although the movie did not impress the critics, Akshay's character earned positive reviews from fans. Filled with sheer enthusiasm, the film ignited an instant peal of laughter in the theatres. A few fans even wrote that Akshay's Punjabi avatar in the film is worth watching.

2. Welcome (2007)

Anees Bazmee's directorial, starring Akshay, Katrina, Nana Patekar, is considered to be a film filled with zest and joy by many. Welcome was much appreciated by fans and because the film did well with the audience, Anees Bazmee came up with a sequel to the film in 2015. Titled Welcome Back, it became the first installment of Welcome film series. Reportedly, Welcome back had a decent box office collection.

3. Ready (2011)

Ready chronicles the story of a man and his family who concoct a grand scheme to win the heart of a woman, who belongs to a family of greedy conniving uncles. The film features Salman Khan and Asin in lead roles. A lot of fans appreciated the film for taking them on a comical ride. Salman's performance in Ready received a truckload of appreciation from his fans.

Anees Bazmee's upcoming release in Bollywood, Pagalpanti, is again a comedy movie about a tourist group going on a vacation and getting into a patriotic mission. Pagalpanti brings John Abraham and Ileana D'Cruz for the first time on screen together. The film also features Anil Kapoor, Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Sharma in pivotal roles. Pagalpanti is slated to release on November 22.
