Pagalpanti is an upcoming multi-starrer comedy film. The star cast includes John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’cruz, Urvashi Rautela, Kriti Kharbanda, and Saurabh Shukla. Anees Bazmee directs the movie. The trio returns

Anees Bazmee, who has directed some of the most hilarious comedy films such as Singh Is Kingg, Welcome and Ready, is ready with yet another movie of the same genre titled Pagalpanti. The movie marks the comeback of John, Anil, and Anees. The trio had previously worked together in 2015 for Welcome Back. While it will be Anees Bazmee and John Abraham’s second project together, Anil Kapoor had worked with the director quite a few times. Anil and Anees’s previous ventures together were Mubarakan, Welcome Back, No Problem, Welcome, and No Entry. The movie also marks John Abraham’s comeback in the genre, after doing consecutive action movies.

The plot of the film is said to be around a group of tourists from India, who go on a vacation trip to London that turns into a patriotic mission. The shooting of the movie has been largely done in London. According to reports, John Abraham got injured during the shooting in Mumbai. Later the shoot resumed in July after his recovery. The movie will have a fresh romantic pair of John Abraham and Ileana D’cruz.

Pagalpanti was supposed to release on November 8, 2019. It would have clashed with Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, and Riteish Deshmukh-starrer Marjaavaan. To avert the clash, the director reportedly rescheduled the release. The film will now release on December 8, 2019. The promotions of the movie are said to start soon.
