'Pagalpanti': John Abraham suffers an injury, shooting comes to halt

'Pagalpanti' came to a halt after John Abraham suffered an injury on the set in Mumbai while working with the lead cast on the final schedule

John Abraham, who last seen in the film Batla House, has been working on his film Pagalpanti. The actor suffered an injury on the set by the end of May which scared the entire team. The critical aspect of the injury led to the shoot coming to a complete halt. Pagalpanti has been directed by Anees Bazmee. The film is set to release on November 22.

John Abraham and the entire cast of the film were working on the final schedule of their film Pagalpanti. The shoot was taking place in Mumbai. According to an interview given by the producer of the film Kumar Mangat to a media portal, John was injured due to mistiming during the shot. John injured his arm which led to the doctor advising him to avoid any strain and stop shooting for 20 days. This scene that the Desi Boys actor was shooting also included Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Ileana DCruz, and Pulkit Samrat. John’s injury caused a major scare to the cast and crew.

All about 'Pagalpanti'

The shoot was later resumed in the month of June. Pagalpanti’s shoot has been completed and is currently in the post-production phase. The film has been majorly shot in the United Kingdom. The scene where John suffered an injury was part of the final schedule which was being shot in Mumbai. Pagalpanti will feature the fresh pairing of John Abraham and Ileana D’Cruz. Both the actors have worked with the film’s director Anees Bazmee on separate projects but never shared screen space. Pagalapanti also stars actor Saurabh Shukla, Kriti Kharbanda, and Urvashi Rautela. The film has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, and Kumar Mangat.
