Two big-budget Bollywood films getting released on the same day has become quite common. However, sometimes the makers of a big Bollywood project reschedule their release date to make space for another big film at the box office. Recently this gracious gesture was done by none other than John Abraham. John Abraham will soon be seen in the much-awaited comedy film, Pagalpanti. John has pushed the release date of the film by one week to avoid a clash with the Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh starrer Marjaavaan.

John Abraham exchanged the release date of his film Pagalpanti with Marjaavaan

The release date of the film Marjaavaan had recently been postponed by the makers to November 22, 2019. Now, John Abraham has agreed to swap the release dates of his film, Pagalpanti with Marjaavan. As a result, the film Pagalpanti will now be releasing on November 22, 2019 while Marjaavan will release on November 8, 2019. This gesture of John Abraham deserves a lot of appreciation. But this has also resulted in Pagalpanti losing its solo release at the box office. The film will now see a clash at the box office with the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala.

The film Pagalpanti is directed by Anees Bazmee.

Interestingly, Ayushmann Khurrana had made his Bollywood debut with the film Vicky Donor which was produced by John Abraham. The film Pagalpanti is a family entertainer, also starring Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’cruz, Arshad Warsi and Pulkit Samrat in the pivotal roles. The film is helmed by Anees Bazmee. Marjaavaan is directed by Milap Zaveri. John Abraham has earlier collaborated with Milap Zaveri on the film, Satyameva Jayate. The film had proved to be a success at the box office. This may also define this lovely gesture by the actor. The film, Pagalpanti is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar and Kumar Mangat.
