Panipat: Arjun Kapoor prepares for his role in the war-drama

Kapoor will be seen next in the upcoming war-drama, Panipat. Arjun Kapoor has shared many social media posts on his workout and training sessions which he mentioned as his preparation to step into the shoes of his character. Arjun Kapoor’s preparation for the role

Panipat: The Great Betrayal is one of the most anticipated historical-drama movies of the year. Starring Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the leading roles, the plot of the movie is set in the 1760s when the third battle of Panipat was fought. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Arjun Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to add sublimity to the character. The actor was a part of vigorous workout sessions, as he will be seen portraying the character of a legendary warrior ‘Sadashiv Rao Bhau’ in the upcoming historical flick. Recently, Arjun Kapoor shared an image from his workout session on his social media handle. The actor was seen stretching himself to his level best to portray his character with perfection. The actor also took horse riding sessions to bring authenticity to his character.

Panipat: The Great Betrayal

The film marks the first association of Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt on-screen. Dutt will be seen portraying the character of the Afghan invader, ‘Ahmad Shah Abdali’. Starring Kriti Sanon as ‘Parvati Bai’, the makers of Panipat have also managed to rope in Hindi cinema veteran Zeenat Aman for a cameo. The actress will be seen as ‘Sakina Begum’ in the upcoming historical flick. Produced by Sunita Gowariker, Panipat will hit the theatres on December 6, 2019. The war-drama is Ashutosh Gowariker's fifth historical film in a row.
