Parineeti Chopra refutes wedding rumours, says its 'Absolutely baseless and untrue'

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra refutes wedding rumours and announced that the report is absolutely baseless and untrue. The actress on Saturday, December 15, responded to the report confirming that it is fake and said that she will announce when she gets married. She captioned the post saying, "ABSOLUTELY BASELESS AND UNTRUE!! I will happily announce whenever I am getting married!"

Recently, Parineeti Chopra's elder cousin sister actress Priyanka Chopra tied the knot with American vocalist Nick Jonas and Parineeti was seen actively participating in the wedding celebrations. From the bachelorette bash in Amsterdam to the grand wedding ceremonies in at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on December 1 and 2, Parineeti was always by her 'Mimi didi' during the wedding festivities. In fact, she has also performed in Priyanka's Bollywood number at the grand Sangeet celebrations. She took to social media and shared a number a number of pictures from the private ceremony.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti who was last featured in Vipul Amrutlal Shah's 'Namaste England', has reportedly started shooting for her upcoming venture 'Kesari' in Rajasthan which also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The period war drama film is directed by Anurag Singh and it tells the story of Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi (in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897) while yearning for the respect of his estranged daughter.

Parineeti recently shared a picture on Instagram while she was on her way to Rajasthan. It was clicked by her 'Kesari' co-star Akshay. She captioned the post saying, "🚁🚁 Photo credit 📸 @akshaykumar"

Principal photography began in January 2018 and the film is scheduled for release on March 22, 2019. Besides 'Kesari' she has a few more films in the pipeline including 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar', and 'Jabariya Jodi', which are slated for a 2019 release.
