Bollywood Actor, Parineeti Chopra on Sunday started shooting for the Hindi remake of Hollywood blockbuster 'The Girl on the Train'.
The film, to be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, is an official remake of the 2016 thriller featuring Emily Blunt.
Ribhu Dasgupta made the announcement on Twitter.

In the movie, Parineeti will play an alcoholic divorcee, who becomes involved in a missing person's investigation. It is produced by Reliance Entertainment. Set in the UK, the film will also feature Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwari.
The 30 year-old actor also took to her Instagram story, where she shared the film's clapboard.
The Hollywood film was based on author Paula Hawkin's 2015 debut novel of the same name. Based on the 2015 bestseller by the author, the film narrates the story of a divorcee woman who gets entangled in a missing persons investigation that puts her through unwanted situations.
Talking to media, the spunky actor said that she is aware that when a remake of a critically-acclaimed movie is made, it comes with a lot of expectations especially from the audience who is bound to draw comparisons between the book and the movie or the character portrayed by actor Emily Blunt and herself.
Apart from The Girl On The Train, Parineeti has multiple other projects lined up for the coming year. These include 'Jabariya Jodi', which also features Siddharth Malhotra, 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' with Arjun Kapoor, 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India' and Saina Nehwal's biopic.
The makers are eyeing a 2020 release.
