Parineeti Chopra's time in London shooting for 'The Girl On The Train'

Parineeti Chopra was recently seen in the movie ‘Jabariya Jodi’ besides Sidharth Malhotra. The movie didn’t perform well at the box-office. In the month of August, Parineeti started working for an upcoming movie, ‘The Girl on the Train’. The movie is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. Parineeti would be seen in the lead role along with the other cast that includes Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, and Hiten Patel. The Girl on the train is a remake of a Hollywood movie with the same name. The Hollywood movie hit theatres in 2016. It was based on the bestselling novel by author Paula Hawkins.

The Hollywood psychological thriller had Emily Blunt in the lead role. For the Bollywood adaptation, Parineeti was roped-in to step into the shoes of Emily Blunt. According to the novel, the story is about a divorced woman who gets stuck in an incident which turns out to be a missing person’s investigation. Due to this, she experiences some unwanted situations.

Parineeti posted a picture on her social media, to announce the commencement of the film's shooting in London. She claimed that this is the most difficult role for her to date. She also expressed her feeling of being restricted as she compares her stay the same as that of a hostel without any social media. She also promised her fans to share the first look of the character.

Soon enough, she shared the first look of her character in the movie. She captioned the picture, “Something I’ve never done before. And the most difficult character I have ever played in my life.” While being on-set in London, Parineeti often shared pictures of her shoot. She also posted pictures from her day off when she was exploring London.

Apparently, Parineeti is playing the role of a divorced lady. Parineeti shared a picture in an all-black outfit with smokey eyes. She had an expression of rage with a hand on her face. The shooting of the movie ended on September 22, 2019.

Parineeti shared a picture where she wrote about her experience of being in London for 7 weeks. She wrote about her feelings post wrap and how much she misses playing that character. In the post, she also mentioned that she's grown up and that her 'life is changing' in an understatement. She stated that she is grateful for being a part of the movie. The Girl on the Train is scheduled to release in 2020.
