Pati Patni Aur Woh: Was Taapsee Pannu first choice for the film?
Pati Patni Aur Woh stars Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday in prominent roles. The film is a remake of 1978 BR Chopra's film of the same name.

Actor Taapsee Pannu was earlier considered for the lead role in the upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh. She accused the makers of the film for removing her unceremoniously from the movie. In an interview with an English daily, the actor called this incident an ‘eye-opener’ and said that ‘the struggle does not really end’.
The Makers Reply
Juno Chopra and Bhushan Kumar, the makers of Pati Patni Aur Woh, earlier said in a joint statement that they have just considered Taapsee Pannu for a role but never finalised the actor for their upcoming movie. Whereas, in an interview with a national daily, the Pink actor claimed that she loved the script and had cleared out her schedule for Pati Patni Aur Woh, but was not informed about being removed from the film.

Directed by Juno Chopra, Pati Patni Aur Woh now stars Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aaryan, and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles. The romantic-comedy-drama is a modern remake of the 1978 film of the same name. The original Pati Patni Aur Woh was directed by BR Chopra and starred Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Rajeenta in the lead roles. In the remake, Kartik Aaryan will play the role of husband, the wife will be essayed by Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday will play the 'other woman'.
Tapsee Pannu's Upcoming Projects
The Mission Mangal actor will be next seen in Saand Ki Aankh alongside Bhumi Pednekar. Tushar Hiranandani’s directorial debut is based on the real-life story of the world’s oldest sharpshooters, Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. The biographical movie is scheduled to theatrically release on October 25.
Taapsee Pannu will play a prominent role in upcoming romantic comedy film Tadka. Directed by Prakash Jha, the Salt N’ Pepper remake will also star Nana Patekar, Shriya Saran and Ali Fazal in pivotal roles. Badla actor is also prepping for Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad. Produced under the banner of Benaras Media Works, the film is slated to release on March 6, 2020.
