'PM Modi will take a firm decision to combat these attacks', says Hema Malini on Pulwama terror attack
Veteran Bollywood actress and politician Hema Malini condemned the Pulwama terrorist attack and asked citizens to stand by the families of the martyred soldiers.
Indian celebrities across domains are furious and vented their anger out on social media after a number of soldiers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were martyred in the terrorist attack that took place in Jammu Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday. Several Bollywood actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, and Preity Zinta among others have expressed their shock and outrage over the incident.
Recently, during a media interaction, veteran Bollywood actress and politician Hema Malini condemned the 'cowardly' move of the Pakistani terrorist outfit and asked citizens to stand by the families of the martyred soldiers.
Expressing her views on the same she said, "The incident that took place on Thursday is very heinous and unfortunate. It is so sad that our young soldiers were killed in such a brutal way. I am an MP from Mathura and I feel bad when I get to know that a lot of men from Mathura also gets martyred. I always go to their place personally and visit their families whenever something like that happens."
"I am grateful to be working under Narendra Modi's regime, I am sure he will take a firm decision to face these attack." she added.
On being asked about the protests taking place, Hema said, "I'll suggest that don't do all these protests, if you feel something I think you should go to their families of the martyred Jawans, meet them, and stand by them."

40 CRPF Jawans were martyred on Thursday as the convoy they were traveling in, on the Jammu-Srinagar highway, was attacked by a suicide bomber in an explosives-laden car. The Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammad has claimed responsibility for what has become the worst terror attack on the forces in many decades, drawing condemnation from across the world. India has revoked Pakistan's Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status and also approached diplomatic missions of numerous countries to isolate Pakistan globally. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that there is incontrovertible evidence of Pakistan's hand being behind the attack, while PM Modi has assured that the sacrifices of the CRPF Jawans would not go in vain and that a free hand has been given to the security forces to avenge the attack.
