Pooja Bhatt is Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter

The actor is the daughter of the famous director, Mahesh Bhatt. Pooja was born to Mahesh Bhatt and his first wife, Kiran Bhatt. Pooja also has a brother, Rahul Bhatt, who is a fitness trainer and an actor.

Half-siblings

Pooja has two half-sisters, Alia and Shaheen. Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt are both Soni Razdaan daughters. Mahesh Bhatt married Soni Razdaan in 1986.

Spouse

Pooja Bhatt was married to Manish Makhija from 2003-2014. The couple parted after 11 years of marriage announcing their separation on the popular micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Pooja Bhatt has two uncles, Robin Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. Mukesh Bhatt is a famous Indian film producer. Robin is Mahesh Bhatt’s half-brother and is a writer. Robin also won an award for Baazigar.

Film director Suneel Darshan is one of her cousins. He is known for his films like Jaanwar, Barsaat, and Dosti. Her other cousin, Vishesh Bhatt is also a film-maker and handles strategy, creatives and digital initiatives at Vishesh Films. The famous director, Mohit Suri is also one of her cousins. Mohit Suri is well known for his films like Aashiqui 2, Half-girlfriend, Ek Villain and more.

Pooja Bhatt recently opened up about her battle with alcohol addiction. The director posted a picture on social media celebrating two years and ten months of being sober. She further motivated her fans saying if she can do it, they can do it too.
