'The name J-sisters started out as a joke'

Even though Priyanka Chopra is elder to Sophie Turner, Sophie's marriage to Joe Jonas who is the elder brother to Nick Jonas makes her the elder sister-in-law to Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka also revealed in an interview, how the term J-sisters came to be. Priyanka credited herself for coming up with the name. She said that it happened on her bachelorette. The actor said that she suggested the name as a joke that they can be J-sisters if their husbands are the Jonas brothers. But soon the term became a thing and now the trio, Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner, and Danielle Jonas are called as ‘J-sisters' by their fans too. Priyanka Chopra will soon be seen in the film, The Sky Is Pink. She will be seen opposite Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The film is directed by Shonali Bose and it is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhury who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
