Priyanka Chopra Talks About Friend Meghan Markle's Pregnancy

Global icon Priyanka Chopra opened up on the pregnancy of her friend and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. The former Hollywood actress and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan is expecting her first child with Prince Harry in the spring of 2019.

Priyanka, who recently attended the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York, addressed the media following the same, where she was asked to comment on Meghan's pregnancy. She replied to the questions posed to her by saying that 'she has quite a few friends now who are having babies and said that she needs to catch up the pace'.

Meghan and Priyanka became friends during their Hollywood days. Moreover, the actress who recently got engaged to American vocalist Nick Jonas also attended the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that was held on May 19, 2018.

In fact, she was the only Indian to make it to the royal guest list. Although Meghan and Priyanka are not seen hanging around together much, they always wish the best for each other. Recently, the 'The Sky is Pink' star extended her support to Meghan's initiative of raising funds for 'Hubb Community Kitchen' in UK. Meghan, being the royal family representative now, recently launched a new charity cookbook titled,'Together: Our Community Cookbook'.

The 'Quantico' actress, last month, took to Twitter and shared the cover picture of the book. In the post, she wrote, "So proud of you Meghan. Women supporting women.. supporting communities. Togetherness.. everything you stand for. Amazing."

Moreover, there are speculations that the royal couple will attend the wedding of Priyanka and Nick, which will reportedly be held on December 2 at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. 

As per media reports, the pair is going to have a typical big fat Indian wedding with around 200 guests in attendance. However, the actress, who prefers keeping her personal life out of the media attention, will reportedly have a private wedding.

After months of speculation, Priyanka and Nick finally confirmed their relationship with the news of their engagement on August 18, 2018. The couple performed their pre-wedding Roka ceremony in Indian style surrounded by close family and friend at Priyanka's Mumbai residence. Later, the couple threw a private party for their close friends in Mumbai which was attended by Bollywood celebrities including director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra.
