Priyanka Chopra Jonas is leaving no stone unturned to achieve her life goals. Her latest film The Sky is Pink received positive reviews from the critics and is also being loved by her fans. During her acting career Priyanka has received several awards and honours and given many emotional speeches. So here some moments from Priyanka Chopra’s award-winning speeches.
1. Filmfare Award for Best Actress (2009)
Priyanka Chopra’s breakout role was Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2008 film Fashion. Priyanka after winning the Filmfare award for her role as Meghna Mathur dedicated the award to the entire team of the film. She specifically thanked director Madhur Bhandarkar for believing her role to play the role of the upcoming model and showcasing her challenges in the industry.
2. Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics) (2012)
Priyanka Chopra played the role of Sussana in the film7 Khoon Maaf, which was based on Ruskin Bond’s novel Sussana and her seven husbands. This Vishal Bharadwaj directed film was heavily praised by the critics and also appreciated by the audience. In her speech for winning the black lady, Priyanka Chopra got emotional and first thanked the team of the film and especially the director. She further when on to thank her parents who present at the award ceremony. She directly addressed them in her speech and thanked them for supporting her when no else did.
3. People’s Choice Award for Favourite Dramatic TV Actress (2017)
Priyanka Chopra won her second People’s Choice Award for her TV series Quantico. Priyanka Chopra in her speech thanked all the nominees in the category and said that they inspired her to take up the role of Alex Parrish. Priyanka further stated that winning the award meant the world to her and was emotional because of her win.
4. Marathi MMA Award (2017)
Priyanka Chopra is not just an actor but a producer and singer as well. In her first Marathi production Ventilator, Priyanka sang a song named Baba. Her Marathi singing debut lead her to win her Listener’s Choice Marathi song of the Year Award. She dedicated her award to her late father since the song Baba talks about a daughter’s relationship with her father.
