Rajkummar Rao collaborates with Hansal Mehta for 'Turram Khan'

After delivering blockbusters like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Stree, Rajkummar Rao will soon make a comeback to the silver screen with some interesting movies. The actor was last seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga opposite Sonam Kapoor. The Citylights actor’s box office collections on multiple occasions have proved to audiences that he is a phenomenal actor. Rajkummar will be seen starring in Hansal Mehta’s next Turram Khan which is scheduled to release on January 31, 2020.

The director-actor duo has already worked together in multiple critically-acclaimed movies like Citylights, Shahid and Omerta to name a few. The duo will make a comeback to the silver screen once again for Turram Khan. According to reports, Nushrat Bharucha will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in the movie. The movie director took on Twitter to share the first look and the release date of the movie.

Director surprises Rajkummar's fans on social media

Hansal Mehta shared the movie release date on a special occasion of Rajkummar’s 35^th birthday. With this news, the director managed to surprise to Rajkummar’s fans with the news. Rajkummar and Nushrat will share the screen for the very first time. Audiences are waiting to witness the duo and the chemistry they share on-screen. The movie is a social comedy film based in a small town of Uttar Pradesh.

Rajkummar is known to play many versatile roles. His acting and character of a psychopath in the movie Judgementall Hai Kya was appreciated by critics and audiences alike. However, the movie did not do too well at the box office.

Turram Khan will be produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao is busy with his upcoming movie Made In China, directed by Mikhail Musale. The movie also stars Mouni Roy, Boman Irani, and Paresh Rawal in prominent roles. The movie is produced by Dinesh Vijen.
