Rajkummar Rao's family and background

Rajkummar Rao changed his name from Raj Kumar Yadav. He completed his schooling in Gurgaon. It is said that he worked in theatres simultaneously during his graduation. His father is a government employee, and he has two siblings; a brother and a sister. The actor is reportedly dating his long-time girlfriend Patralekhaa Paul, who was his co-star in the movie City Lights

Rajkummar Rao's movies - From antagonist to protagonist 

Rajkummar started his career and for his very second full-length feature film Ragini MMS, he portrayed the role of antagonist. Being a newbie in the industry and taking such a bold step was not everyone's cup of tea then. He has worked in a negative role for films like Humari Adhuri Kahani and Queen. 2017 marked and established him as a brilliant performer when he delivered three diverse characters for his three films named Newton, Bareilly ki Barfi, and Raabta. He also won the National Award for his film Shahid in 2014.

In films like Behen Hogi Teri and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, he caught the attention of the audience. His movie Trapped, City Lights, and Omerta are some of his critically acclaimed films. He also shared screen space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 2018's Fanney Khan. He hit his first milestone with his film Stree and entered the 100crore club for the first time in his career. 

National Award Winner will be soon seen sharing screen space with Mouni Roy in an upcoming film Made in China. He is playing the role of a failed Gujarati businessman, and his quirky accent of the character is already loved by the masses. The film is slated to release this Diwali on October 27, 2019. The film also features Paresh Rawal, Gajraj Rao, Sumeet Vyas, Boman Irani, and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles among others.
