In the trailer of the film, Marjaavaan, Rakul Preet Singh's character could be seen, where she was seen grooving on a dance number and later seemed to get into an argument with Riteish Deshmukh. The viewers expected more screen time to be given to Rakul in the trailer and expressed their concerns on social media. Audiences felt it was disappointing as her performance was appreciated by the masses in the film De De Pyaar De. There has been a lot of buzz about Rakul Preet Singh’s character in the movie.
Rakul Preet Singh is all set to star in Milap Zaveri’s upcoming project Marjaavaan. Rakul uploaded a post on her Instagram handle before the trailer launch, giving her fans a sneak peek into her attire for the day. Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh launched the trailer of their upcoming film, Marjaavaan in Mumbai, on Thursday.
Rakul Preet Singh debuted in Yaariyan which released in 2014. She went on a break and returned in 2018 alongside Manoj Bajpayee in Aiyaary. Earlier this year she starred in Akiv Ali’s directorial debut De De Pyaar De alongside Ajay Devgn. She is now going to feature in her second film this year, Marjaavaan. The film Marjaavaan is written and directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and produced by T-series production and Emmay Entertainment. The film is slated to release on November 8, 2019.
Rakul Preet's upcoming project
The actor will be seen in the much-awaited Tamil film, Indian 2. She will be seen alongside Kamal Hassan. The film, Indian 2, is known as a high-octane vigilante film. Recently, Rakul Preet Singh resumed shooting for the film in Chennai. There were rumours that due to her other commitments the actor will not be starring in the film. However, there was no official confirmation of the same.
