Ranveer Singh broke down after shooting the climax of '83: Kabir Khan
Director Kabir Khan made an interesting revelation about '83 actor Ranveer Singh and said that Singh broke down after shooting the trophy-lifting scene.

Ranveer Singh's upcoming sports drama '83 which is based on India’s historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup, was wrapped up a couple of days ago. Following the same, director Kabir Khan during a recent interview spilled the beans about all that went behind the scenes. The director made an interesting revelation about lead actor Ranveer Singh and said that he broke down after shooting the trophy-lifting scene.
Speaking about recreating the grand victory, Kabir Khan said that they shot at the Lord’s stadium in London for 5 days and while recreating the trophy-lifting scene with the real World Cup, Ranveer Singh was so overwhelmed that he broke down when he shouted “cut.”
'83 wrap-up bash
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh, who is known for his cheerful nature set the dance floor on fire at the '83 wrap-up bash. Videos from the party have surfaced on the internet where Ranveer Singh can be seen dancing with the cast of the movie. His wife, actress Deepika Padukone, who is also a part of the project, was also spotted at the event. The pair clad in white were seen dancing their heart out, and their crackling chemistry has yet again won the hearts of the fans.

'83
Ranveer Singh's 83 stars Ranveer Singh as India's then captain Kapil Dev. The Kabir Khan directorial also features Boman Irani, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Chirag Patil, Jiiva and Harrdy Sandhu in the lead. Ranveer Singh's wife Deepika Padukone also joined the cast of the film and she will be essaying the role of Kapil's spouse Romi Dev. While this is Ranveer Singh's fourth film with Deepika, the film marks their first on-screen collaboration post their November 2018 wedding. '83 is being co-produced by Madhu Mantena, Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment. It is slated to hit the screens on April 10, 2020.
