In an old interview given to a leading online portal, Ranveer revealed the box office debacle of movies like Kill Dill and Befikre did not hamper his morale. Like most actors, he too believes the success or failure of a movie is dependent on numerous other variables than just actors. Ranveer revealed the failure of Kill Dill and Befikre taught him an important lesson. He realised filmmaking is a collaborative process, and blaming one person for the success or failure of a movie is unfair. So, he believes that the failure of Kill Dill and Befikre, is the failure of the whole team.
Ranveer Singh's upcoming movies
On the professional front, Ranveer Singh recently wrapped the London schedule of Kabir Khan's '83, based on the Indian Cricket team's monumental won at the World Cup 1983. The movie has an ensemble cast consisting of Ranveer Singh, Boman Irani, Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Deepika Padukone, among others. Meanwhile, the actor is under rigorous training for his part in Karan Johar's Takht. The historical drama will also star Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead, alongside Singh. The movie is expected to hit the silver screens by 2020.
