Ranveer Singh's quirks on red carpet & ramp show he's one of a kind
Ranveer Singh quirky avatars on the red carpet and on the ramp for two events on the same day showed that he didn't care much about the so-called conventions.
One is supposed to dress and pose ‘elegantly’ on the red carpet and walk with 'grace' on the ramp. But one can’t expect Ranveer Singh to follow these norms. The actor just broke all the rules of ‘how not to pose at the red carpet’ or ‘how not to walk on the ramp’ by creating his own rules with his two fashion appearances on Saturday. The Padmaavat star showcased his unique and quirky style at both the events, walking and posing with aplomb, dancing, wooing the audiences and media persons.
Appearance 1
Ranveer Singh’s first appearance on the day was as a showstopper for his childhood friend’s brand. The actor didn’t have any starting trouble as such, coming out with fire, on the aisle, stretching his arms, shouting ‘Yes’. Then he grooved as if it is a club, he then posed by going down on his knees, to all those recording his quirks and then giving them a high-five one by one. Ranveer Singh then went backwards in a full dance. Ranveer Singh then returned to go down on his knees and give a lady a kiss on her hand, a young woman also got a peck on the cheek too. The Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela star then had his own style to present the designers for the occasion, while dancing almost continuously. Watch the video here:
Appearance 2
Later in the day, he arrived at the Vogue Women of the Year Awards in another headline-grabbing appearance. His outfit has less colourful than usual, with a bright red suit striking out, but his act was not any subtle. The 34-year-old age entered with a speaker and placed it at the red carpet, so that music raises the mood of his appearance. With the stick in his hand, Ranveer Singh performed some cool moves while setting himself for the posing. The hand on the waist pose or chewing the gum might be considered too ‘casual’ for the red carpet, but Ranveer surely didn’t care. He went on smiling and talking to the media persons. He then looked at the time, and said, “Apna time aa gaya” when the music played so and even said, “Jai Jhulelal.’ Watch the video here:
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release ‘83’ where he plays the role of Kapil Dev, India’s World Cup-winning captain of the 1983 World Cup. The film has been directed by Kabir Khan. The movie will hit the theatres in April, 2020.
