Raveena Tandon congratulates Indian Forces for the Airstrike, says Pakistan 'Needs to thank us for doing what they couldn’t do'

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon congratulated the Indian armed forces for the successful mission and said that Pakistan, who often complain being a victim of terrorism should thank India for the move.

The sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in Pulwama terror attack did not go unanswered as India struck back at the Pakistani terror bases on Tuesday. The Indian Air Force has avenged the death of the 40 CRPF Jawans, who were bombed to death by Pakistan based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed. It took down their biggest training camp of JeM in Balakot, Pakistan killing a number of terrorists. 

Several Indian celebrities took to social media to congratulate and pay respect to the Indian Air Force, who accomplished the mission risking their lives to avenge our martyrs.  Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon also congratulated the Indian armed forces for the successful mission and said that Pakistan, who often complain being a victim of terrorism should thank India for the move.

In a Twitter post on Tuesday, February 26, she wrote, "What an explosive morning! As India celebrates! I salute the 12 brave hearts for meting out justice for our Pulwama boys! Our Neighbours often complain of being victims of terrorism themselves .. they need to thank us. Jai Hind."

Further elaboration her point in a consecutive post, she said, "I believed that they were victims of terrorism too, so shouldn’t they be happy that we took out the terror camps which they couldn’t do.? So why the outrage? We just helped them."

Following the same, she also penned a message peace slamming some civilians in Pakistan for supporting terrorism and its activities. Sharing a picture of a tweet by a Pakistani civilian, she said, "When innocents were killed in the army school terrorist attack in Pakistan. India cried for the little lives lost. Stood in solidarity with Pakistan. Our school children lit candles in memory and respect. feel sad when SOME civilians in Pak support terrorism and its activities."

On Tuesday, February 26, Foreign Secretary of India issued a statement confirming that the Indian Air Force struck and destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps across the Line of Control in a pre-dawn operation. As per sources, the strike, carried out by 12 of the IAF's Mirage 2000 fighters, lasted up to 21 minutes and was carried out at three locations.  As per media reports, six bombs were dropped on the terrorist camps and over 350 terrorists were executed.
