Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: Anjali Anand recalls being anxious during auditions

Anjali Anand was recently seen as Gayatri Randhawa in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. However, the actress recently opened up and recalled her audition for the film. Anjali revealed that she was having panic attacks while recording her audition tape.

Anjali Anand opens up about her audition tape

In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Anjali Anand revealed that she was more than happy when the casting director of the film, Shanoo Sharma, informed her that she was being considered for the role of Gayatri. However, she recalled that she could do a scene of 15 pages on TV in one take without any hesitation, but that was not the case with her in films. She said, "For doing four lines, I was having panic attacks. I had taken 200 takes to do that and I’m not even joking."

Anjali further added that she was sure that she will not be selected for the role. Nevertheless, she was happy with her last take and felt satisfied with her performance. She said, "I saw it and thought it was so good, it was so simple. What the hell did you do for the last 4 hours?"
