Dinesh Vijan's, Maddock Films recently announced the date of two of their major films. One being 'RoohiAfza' starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, other being 'Angrezi Medium' starring Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, the former was all set to release on March 20, 2020, but now it has been postponed and will hit the ticketing counters only by April 17, 2020. And the slot has been given to 'Angrezi Medium', which will be releasing ahead of its schedule.

About 'RoohiAfza': 

‘Roohi-Afza’ is the fourth film Janhvi has signed after ‘Dhadak’, which released last year and a biopic on Gunjan Saxena, an IAF pilot named 'The Kargil Girl' along with ‘Takht’, all three from Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film is again in the same space as ‘Stree’, a blockbuster combination for Rajkummar and Dinesh. ‘Roof-Afza’ has been co-written by ‘Fukrey’ fame Mrighdeep Singh Lamba along with Gautam Mehra and also co-produced by the former. The movie, directed by Hardik Mehta, will on floors in June and release on March 20, 2020.

ANGREZI MEDIUM: 

Apart from Irrfan Khan, The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan in the lead and went on floors in Udaipur on April 5, this year. As per media reports, Kareena will be essaying the role of a cop in the upcoming venture while Radhika will play Irrfan's daughter who, reportedly, wishes to pursue higher studies in the UK. The film also stars Dimple Kapadia.
