Saand Ki Aankh starring Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu in the lead is raking big numbers at the box office. According to Box Office India, the sports drama has managed to earn about ₹ 8.50 crores on its second weekend. The movie, released on October 25, 2019, alongside Housefull 4 and Made In China has managed to impress the audiences with its intriguing storyline and flabbergasting performances by its leads, Taapsee and Bhumi. Saand Ki Aankh, released on Diwali weekend, managed to earn about ₹ 11 crores in its first weekend. According to Box Office India, the sports drama has managed to earn ₹ 1.25 crores on its second and third weekend respectively, bringing the Saand Ki Aankh total collection to ₹ 21.50 crores nett. Reportedly, the release of Ayushmann-Bhumi starrer Bala might affect the box office collection of Saand Ki Aankh. But, the movie is said to surpass the earnings of Pannu's earlier releases like Mulk and Manmarziyaan. Reportedly, the box office collections of Pannu's previous movies were in a similar range.

The lead actors' upcoming releases
Taapsee Pannu is riding high on the success of her last release Mission Mangal. The movie, starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the lead, was a massive hit and reportedly collected more than Rs. 150 crores at the box office. The actor is currently busy shooting for her next movie, titled Rashmi Rocket. Other than Rashmi Rocket, the star also as Anubhav Sinha's Thappad in her kitty. The cast and crew recently wrapped up the shoot of the forthcoming film.
Meanwhile, her co-star Bhumi is busy vacationing in Bali, Indonesia. The actor is expected to resume shooting for Karan Johar directorial Takht. The historical drama has an ensemble cast consisting of Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt. The movie is expected to hit the silver screens in 2020.
