Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Saand Ki Aankh recently hit the theatres. The stars were very hopeful about the movie minting money at the box office. Saand Ki Aankh received a lot of appreciation from the critics and the ratings of the movie were also quite great. The movie was promoted extensively by both Bhumi and Taapsee on their social media handles. However, the movie failed to make a mark on the box office on day 1.

#MadeInChina & #SaandKiAankh fails to pull in audience on the opening day. The Day1 collections of both the films will be below ₹1Cr. each. Sad but true.

It is estimated that the movie made somewhere around 70 lakhs on its first day. The exact figure has not been revealed. The collections, however, are likely to remain below Rs. 1 crore on Day 1, as per a few trade analysts. Saandh Ki Aankh clashed with Rajkummar Rao’s Made in China, however, their biggest competition was the Akshay Kumar-starrer Housefull 4. Housefull 4 did quite well on day 1, surpassing both Saand Ki Aankh and Made in China.

It is reported that the movie has been made tax free in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi. The movie revolves around the story of world’s oldest sharpshooters. Saandh Ki Aankh is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and written by Balwinder Singh Janjua.
#SaandKiAankh & #MadeinChina both had a very poor opening.
