Saand Ki Aankh: Second week BO collection of the Taapsee-Bhumi film

Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar's Saand Ki Aankh is a biopic on the world's oldest female sharpshooters- Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar. The location is set in Uttar Pradesh. The movie was originally titled Womaniya but was changed to Saand Ki Aankh due to a title rights dispute. The film collected ₹ 11.68 crore during its opening week. According to the Box Office India reports, Saand Ki Aankh has so far collected ₹ 18.77 Crores.

Saand Ki Aankh witnessed growth during the second weekend after its release. The Tushar Hiranandani directorial has so far made ₹ 18.77 crores at the box office. After a moderate earning of ₹ 1.28 crore on Friday, the movie made ₹ 1.89 crores and ₹ 2.32 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The film may surpass the earnings of Taapsee Pannu‘s earlier releases like Mulk and Manmarziyaan which collected ₹ 21.10 crore and ₹ 27.09 crores respectively at the box office.

The film portrays the inspirational life of the world's oldest sharpshooters - Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. The film is declared tax free by Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan government. The film is produced by Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar and hit the theatres on October 25, 2019.
