Saif Ali Khan is an Indian film actor and producer who made his debut in the movie Parampara. Saif Ali Khan has received several awards including six Filmfare awards and a Padma Shri. He was last seen in the movie Baazaar alongside Radhika Apte and Chitrangada Singh. The actor recently featured in Netflix’s Sacred Games 2 as Inspector Sartaj Singh.

Saif Ali Khan recently talked in an interview about his father Mansoor Ali Khan. Saif said that his father changed his name from Pataudi to Khan. This happened after the Indian government abolished all princely titles. His father also lost his captaincy of the Indian cricket team in the same year.

In an interview in the Arbaaz Khan Show, the 49-year-old actor said that as a child he once asked his father why he has two names. His father said that he was born a Pataudi, but after the year 1971, their surname changed to Khan. Saif added that this is how they were brought up and he thinks people should know about it.
