Salman Khan, Prabhudeva collaborate to remake Korean film, The Veteran

Prabhudeva made a major breakthrough when he collaborated with Salman Khan for the first time in Wanted, setting off a string of films that touched the 100-crore mark for the top Bollywood actor. More recently, the two are working together for Dabanng 3. The movie is the third instalment of the franchise. It is scheduled to hit theatres this December. Dabangg 3 will be starring Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan. They will be seen in their iconic characters of ‘Chulbul Pandey’ and ‘Rajjo.

The Veteran remake, a Salman-Prabhudeva collaboration

According to an entertainment portal, the duo is all set to come together for the remake of a Korean film, The Veteran. Also, the title of the movie has a huge connection with the movie Wanted. Reportedly, Atul Agnihotri has the rights to the Korean hit and the remake of this movie would be a thriller. Throwing light on the character of Salman Khan, he will be performing one of his iconic characters of top cop or sleuth. It is planned to be named Radhe as that is the name of his character is the movie Wanted.

Reportedly, the idea was discussed with Prabhudeva as the two are already working together. Salman Khan is currently on the verge of wrapping up Dabanng 3. Post the movie's release, the filmmaker and actor will start working on The Veteran's remake. Atul is excited about the project and Salman is all set to give his fans a treat on Eid 2020.

Recently, Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt were to be seen on-screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah. This was the first time the duo would be seen together on-screen, however, the movie was indefinitely shelved due to unknown reasons. There were reports that there won’t be a Salman movie releasing on the occasion of Eid 2020. That was disappointing news for many fans. The actor committed to his fans that he will certainly release a film on Eid. There are many movies that are rumoured to release with the actor in a lead role. Movies like Kick 2 and this The Veteran remake top the list.
