Reportedly, initially, the trailer release of Motichoor Chaknachoor was delayed because of the Bombay High Court’s order of stay on the release of the trailer. This was due to a commercial arbitration petition, filed by Debamitra Biswal, writer and director of Motichoor Chaknachoor, over non-payment of dues by the makers of the film Woodpecker Movies Private Limited. The stay, however, was soon lifted, post which, the trailer was released on October 11. However, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty’s unconventional pairing in Motichoor Chaknachoor makes the film more interesting. The film is set to hit the screens on November 15 this year.
