Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera rallies with Shiv Sena in Dharavi

Salman Khan’s bodyguard, Gurmeet Singh aka Shera, has been in the news recently as he joined hands with an Indian political party. Shera became a member of Shiv Sena just three days before the assembly polls. Shera shared the news on his Instagram account and celebrities like Giorgia Andriani and Guru Randhawa have congratulated him for the same.

After joining the political party, Shera has already started being a part of the rallies. The youth wing of Shiv Sena, Yuvasena founder Aditya Thackeray had visited Dharavi. Shera was seen standing beside him throughout the rally as the party moved around in a car. Shera wore a white coloured shirt and had a cloth with the logo of the party around his neck.

About Shera

It is reported that Sohail Khan had employed Shera’s agency for Salman Khan in 1995. The project was for Salman’s overseas shoot. Sohail Khan was impressed by his work and hence asked Shera to work for Salman. This is how Shera became a friend and eventually a member of the family. Shera has been clicked a lot of times with Salman Khan. He has been working for Salman Khan for about 20 years and supposedly earns about ₹16 lakhs per month. 

Shera has his own security service called Tiger Security Services that cater to high-profile clients. His agency was recently awarded the Best Security Agency in Asia award in Malaysia. He calls Salman Khan his 'Malik' and has often stated that Salman means a lot to him. Salman considers Shera to be his family member. It is very evident from his Instagram posts that Shera considers Salman to be his mentor and his friend.
