Salman Khan's metro ride in Mumbai city gets the internet talking
Salman Khan recently took a metro ride for the launch event of 'Bigg Boss 13', that was held at a Metro yard in Mumbai. The actor will next be seen in 'Dabangg'
After Akshay Kumar, actor Salman Khan has now taken a metro ride for the launch event of 'Bigg Boss 13', that was held at a Metro yard in Mumbai. At the event, the star spoke about the benefits of Metro and stated that it was a good thing that the door is locked and that no one can hang out of the door. However, for some social media users, the ride did not go down well. Many alleged that he was indirectly supporting the destruction of the Aarey Forest. For quite some time now, Mumbaikars have been protesting against the proposed cutting of 2,700 trees in Aarey forest to accommodate a Metro car shed in the area.
Aarey Forests:
Activists are opposing the proposed felling of over 2,600 trees in Aarey to make way for the metro car shed and demanding relocation of the depot, which is part of the Metro III project. "Aarey cannot be declared as forest just because there is greenery there. Aarey was formed in the past as a milk colony and to keep cattle and horse stables," Sakhare told a division bench of Chief Justice Pradeep Nandrajog and Justice Bharati Dangre.
On the professional front:
Salman Khan will next be seen in 'Dabangg 3'.
Dabangg 3 is the third instalment of the Dabangg franchise and is directed by Prabhu Deva. Kalank actress Sonakshi Sinha will be reviving her role as Chubul Pandey’s wife Rajjo. Arbaaz Khan will once again play Makkhi Pandey, Chubul Pandey’s brother. Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan will jointly produce the film. The first instalment was directed by Anurag Kashyap’s brother Abhinav Kashyap and the second instalment was directed by Arbaaz Khan.
