Salman Khan and his team recently wrapped up the schedule for Dabangg 3, the third movie in the Dabangg cop universe. Prabhu Deva has directed this Salman Khan Films and Reliance Entertainment production. In the film, Salman Khan will reprise his role of Inspector Chulbul Pandey. Chulbul Pandey returns after seven years

The first film in the Dabangg film series was shot and released in 2010, and the sequel hit theatres in the year 2012. The first two movies of the Dabangg series were more focused on delivering intense on-screen action to the audiences. However, the third installment of the movie series will reportedly be more focused on the character of Chulbul Pandey (played by Salman Khan). The movie will also feature many characters from the previous films of the Dabangg franchise.

Not only does the movie put emphasis on the character of Chulbul Pandey, but it will also have scenes of Chulbul Pandey’s childhood as well. Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Ashwami Manjrekar has been roped in and is rumoured to play the role of young Rajjo. Pramod Khanna, the brother of late actor Vinod Khanna, will replace him on-screen to play the role of Prajapati Pandey (Salman’s stepfather on-screen). According to the reports, the movie has been shot at several locations of Indore.

Apart from the new storyline, people can also expect the trademark characteristics of Chulbul Pandey to be present. Just like in the previous films of the Dabangg movie franchise, Salman Khan will be seen in his flirtatious and humourous cop avatar in the upcoming movie. The movie will also feature item numbers and romantic songs just like in the previous films. And not to forget the most popular and renowned aspect of the movie series – intense action.
