Sanjay Dutt played a dangerous and smart criminal, Ballu. He gave one of the most iconic performances of his career. The movie also stars Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit Nene. The song Nayak Nahi Khalnayak Hoon Main is still fresh in many minds.

Vaastav

Released in 1999, Vaastav remains one of the popular crime thriller films among the movie lovers. Sanjay received many praises for his portrayal of Raghunath Namdev Shivalkar. The story is about an innocent guy who gets involved in a crime that changes his life. Dialogues of the film were one of its highlights.

Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

The 2003 comedy movie marked a comeback Sanjay Dutt with a few flops early. He played Munna Bhai, a local criminal who hides his identity from his father and the trouble he creates in doing that. Sanjay’s appearance in the movie made his fan awestruck. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role.
