'Sanju' wins big at Australian International Movie Convention
After breaking records at the Indian box office, 'Sanju' has won Highest-Grossing Foreign Language Film Award at the Australian International Movie Convention.
Rajkumar Hirani's directorial Sanju, which is a biopic on Indian actor Sanjay Dutt, has been creating a lot of buzz ever since the film released. The film, which emerged as one of the highest-grossing Hindi-language films last year, has now attained yet another remarkable feat. As per media reports, Sanju has won the Highest Grossing Foreign Language Film Award at the Australian International Movie Convention.
Film critic and movie analyst Taran Adarsh made the announcement on Tuesday, October 22. In a recent Twitter post, he spoke about Sanju's marvelous achievement of becoming the Highest Grossing Foreign Language Film and revealed that the film competed with other foreign-language films from a number of countries including China and France to bag the prestigious award.
