Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut by playing the lead character in movies like Kedarnath directed by Abhishek Kapoor alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Sara Ali Khan as a teenager was struggling with her weight. Recently Sara shared an old picture of herself with her mother on social media. The picture took social media by storm. Many of her fans were surprised to see her transformation that was evident from her teenage photos.

Sara Ali Khan has said that the transformation journey was not easy for her. She had to make a lot of changes in her lifestyle, eating habits and more. On the talk show Koffee with Karan, Sara appeared with her father, Saif Ali Khan. Sara revealed having Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOD), which made it tough for her to lose weight. But she also said that PCOD only motivated her to lose weight. However, Sara knew that she wanted to become an actor. Sara admitted that she was at her heaviest at 96kgs.

How did Sara Ali Khan lose 30 kgs?

Sara Ali Khan practices Kathak, yoga, pilates and also does intense workout to keep herself in shape. Sara also revealed that she had to undergo boot camp training. She also mentioned that she enjoyed playing lawn tennis. After all these activities, it took Sara a year and a half to shed 30kgs. The biggest challenge for Sara was making changes in her eating habits. Reportedly, switching from pizza to salads was the toughest for her.

Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for her upcoming movies like Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2 with Kartik Aaryan. She will also be working on David Dhawan's Coolie No. 1 next to Varun Dhawan.
