Sara Ali Khan shares her experience of working with David Dhawan

Sara Ali Khan made her debut in the Film industry opposite Sushant Singh Rajput with the 2018 romantic-drama film Kedarnath which was directed by Abhishek Kapoor. She was also seen opposite Ranveer Singh in the 2018 action film Simmba which was a commercial success at the box office. The film was co-produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Sara was praised by her fans and critics for her screen presence. The young actor has received great success at a very early age in her career and has already been roped in for several big projects. She is currently shooting for David Dhawan’s Coolie no. 1 opposite Varun Dhawan.

Sara Ali Khan will be seen reprising Karisma Kapoor’s role from the previous Coolie no. 1 which was made in 1995. The film was one of the successful collaborations between Govinda and David Dhawan as the duo has delivered several hits at the box office. Sara was asked in an interview by a leading portal about her experience of working with legendary director David Dhawan. She described David Dhawan’s cinema as very colourful and added that his films are filled with positive vibes. She also spoke about justifying Karisma Kapoor’s character. The actor shared the first look poster of the film on her birthday. Sara and Varun starrer Coolie no.1 will be the 45th film of David Dhawan’s career which makes it more special for fans. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jacky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The film is set to hit the screens on May 1, 2020.

Sara recently finished shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s romantic-drama project which is not officially titled and is tentatively addressed as Aaj Kal. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Imtiaz Ali and Homi Adjania. Sara will be seen opposite the famous actor Kartik Aaryan in the film. Randeep Hooda will be also seen portraying an important role in the movie. The film is scheduled to release on February 14, 2020.
