She then revealed that she herself was going through a divorce and hence found the story to be a complete coincidence. Scarlett Johansson in the interview also revealed that a lot of her discussions with Noah regarding single parents, families, and relationships made it in the story. Scarlett Johansson also told Chris that Infinity War and Endgame were an anchor to her. The films were something to hold on to when some days were difficult. She also talked about her experience of working with Noah Baumbach. Scarlett said that Noah is relentless as a director and at times might even take 50 takes to get the right shot. He only uses one camera and is very specific regarding the dialogues.

She further added that Noah follows the script and sticks to it. Every unfinished sentence or word uttered is part of the script hence nothing was improvised. This revelation left Evans a bit stunned and he then responded by saying that she (Scarlett Johansson) and Noah deserve Oscars since he thought certain scenes of the films were definitely improvised and not part of the script.
